Born in Reggio Emilia in 1962. He has been a professional photographer since 1985 and works regularly for a number of local and national newspapers, focusing in particular on social reportage and showing a preference for the expressive qualities of black and white photography. Over the past few years he has undertaken a number of local studies, all of which are characterised by an anthropological type approach to his own city.
